At SKILLTEC, we believe that financial challenges should never stand in the way of education. Through the Grace Scholarship, the institution is committed to supporting talented, deserving, and underprivileged students by providing a 50% tuition scholarship to eligible trainees.
Whether you are an outstanding student, the child of a pastor, or come from an underprivileged background, the Grace Scholarship is designed to help you achieve your educational and career goals.
What is the Grace Scholarship?
The Grace Scholarship is a financial aid program offered by SKILLTEC that covers 50% of a student's tuition fees. It is awarded to trainees who meet specific eligibility requirements established by the institution.
The scholarship reflects SKILLTEC's commitment to making quality technical and professional education accessible to students with both academic potential and genuine financial need.
Who Can Apply?
The Grace Scholarship is available to students who meet one of the following criteria:
1. Students with Excellent Academic Performance
Students applying into Form One who score 75% or above in the official SKILLTEC Entrance Examination are eligible for the Grace Scholarship.
This scholarship is intended to reward academic excellence and encourage high-performing students to continue pursuing their education in a supportive learning environment.
Important: The scholarship remains valid for up to five years, provided the student maintains satisfactory academic performance. If a student's performance declines significantly during this period, SKILLTEC reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship.
2. Children of Pastors
Students who can provide evidence that one of their parents is a pastor serving in a Bible-believing church are also eligible for the Grace Scholarship.
This initiative recognizes families who dedicate themselves to serving their communities and supports their children's pursuit of quality education.
3. Widows and Underprivileged Students
SKILLTEC is committed to ensuring that education remains accessible to those facing financial hardship.
Widows and students from underprivileged backgrounds who can provide the necessary supporting documents may qualify for the Grace Scholarship, helping them continue their education with reduced financial burden.
